Now fully retired from a 50-year professional career in academics, health organization administration and government program management, his “retirement” has been devoted to volunteer service in the governance of community health programs and financial institutions, and in volunteer forest trail maintenance. When not overscheduled with volunteer work, Patrick maintains a keen interest in both Revolutionary and Civil War medicine.
